RE: 7.1 Gulf of California
holy crap, they just had a 4-pointer a few minutes before this one

living in California for most of my life, I would say these jiggles are normal, but with all the seismic activity we've had over the past 48 hours, now I'm starting to get a little bit nervous

RE: 7.1 Gulf of California
I think it's very significant that there were three EQ's within 27 minutes, in nearly the same spot, each one larger than the other.

doomed

All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I hear ya, rentgirl...I've been here all my life, and it's not so much the size of the quakes, rather the frequency with which they have been occurring.

Maybe if we stop thinking about them, we can stop them from manifesting...

just kidding.

Jerry1

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
