Mirko Curti was chasing his cat through the streets of his village on Tuesday night when the cat inadvertently discovered a set of ancient Roman ruins.
"The cat managed to get into a grotto and we followed the sound of its meowing," Curti told the Guardian.

Cool stuff.
I lived in Italy for 3 years. Did alot of travel writing and photography.

They have so many ruins - that they leave under the earth - as a way of protecting them. The Italian government doesn't have the funds to protect them. They are all over the place.

Real cool place to walk in history.
I lived near and used to walk about the place where that oracle hung out. North of Naples.

In the far future will the inhabitants of Georgia see Atlanta as ruins, or just a ruinous pile of a fallen city? chuckle

If money weren't an issue I would 100% be a crazy cat lady with 100 cats. With a basement sandbox as a litter box and a rake to scoop.
