Well thats shit.

I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books. I have begun to listen to the teachings my blood whispers to me: Hermann Hesse

There was a fire and MASSIVE explosion at the plant that used to make the solid propellant for the Space Shuttle SRB's.

It was on one of those 'Worlds Greatest Clusterfucks' programs they have on Discovery or one of the other channels tha deals with such sensationalized documentary type programming.

The plant was in a large valley, and the video was taken from the rim of the valley by a hiker or mountain biker or something.

That blast was SO BIG you could SEE the shockwave propagating across the valley floor.

It was MOST impressive!

If this one was anywhere that big, this could be a MAJOR catastrophe...

Let me know if the dam breaks... April 19 is Friday.

Quote from news article:

" Numerous injuries were reported and multiple ambulances were requested.

Several buildings were reported destroyed and a nearby nursing home was damaged.

There were reports that people were trapped in the nursing home and in an apartment building. "

Looks big

"A woman who was passing through West on Interstate 35 at the time of the explosion said she and her boyfriend saw a fireball 100-feet wide shoot into the air."

We've had a few impressive chemical plant explosions the last couple years.

As long as someone doesn't come on here and tell me about the ginormous explosion in Glen Rose... doomed

Don't vote, it'll only encourage the bastards!! chuckle

This will not go in O'Butt'Ma's favor.. it will only increase tensions...

This is how it starts..

small little pops of bombs, industrial espionage.. then increases in bombing... leading up to?...

Martial Law...

this is how communists work, ratcheting up the reactions, forcing state wide martials law by spreading the bombings to first "known" areas of malcontent, then smaller countys, and eventually targeting areas of national pride...

then martial law is complete...

CONFIRMED RUSSIA NEWS IS NOW PICKING THIS UP

A massive explosion has rocked a fertilizer plant near Waco, Texas. Rescue crews are on the scene as a number of injuries have been reported, according to local affiliate KWTX. Several buildings are thought to have been destroyed.

There were accounts of people trapped in a nearby nursing home, which had been damaged, and residents stranded in an adjacent apartment building. The explosion occurred around 7:50pm local time.

A large swath of the town of West, Texas was “leveled” in the explosion, according to WFAA-TV Dallas reporter Jason Whitely.

Damn, I'm about 40 miles SW of there and felt it ! It was a low rumble that lasted about 10 seconds - I thought Space X was testing rocket engines at their facility in McGregor about 30 miles away.
