Fluoride Removal from the body

From GLP:

I can't verify this info, but use your own discernment.

Dr. Kenezy Gyula Korhaz states that iodine chelates heavy metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium and aluminum and halogens such as fluoride and bromide, thus decreasing their iodine inhibiting effects[vii] especially of the halogens. Iodine has the highest atomic weight of all the common halogens (126.9). Iodine is the only option when it comes to removing these toxic haloids from the thyroid and even the pineal gland where fluoride concentrates, especially when there is a deficiency in iodine in the body. In an age of increasing radioactivity and toxic poisoning specifically with fluoride[viii], chlorine and bromide, and even mercury, iodine is a necessary mineral to protect us from harm for immediately these toxic substances will increasingly flow out of the body in the urine.

Many of us are forced or conditioned to drink fluoridated water and also brush our teeth with fluoride. Could an iodine deficiency be related in some way to the current epidemic of hypothyroidism, breast, and prostate cancers? Are government health officials poisoning the public with fluoride and bromide, aspartame and mercury, and even with rocket fuel, just to name a few things? Yes this is exactly what they are doing and they are feeling quite defensive about it.

There is growing evidence that Americans would have better health
and a lower incidence of cancer and fibrocystic disease of the breast
if they consumed more iodine. A decrease in iodine intake coupled
with an increased consumption of competing halogens, fluoride and
bromide, has created an epidemic of iodine deficiency in America.
Dr. Donald Miller Jr.

Dr. David Brownstein says that fluoride inhibits the ability of the thyroid gland to concentrate iodine and research has shown that fluoride is much more toxic to the body when there is iodine deficiency present. When iodine is supplemented the excretion rate of the toxic halides bromide, fluoride and perchlorate is greatly enhanced. Brownstein says that after only one dose of iodine the excretion of fluoride increased by 78% and this is very important for those who are drinking fluoridated water or are taking medicines with fluoride in them; bromide excretion rates increased by 50%. Our environment is loaded with the toxic halides bromine and fluorine and up to now we have had no way to detoxify the body of these thyroid poisons.

Curious...is it in the food supply, as well?

cilantro chelates toxic heavy metals.
I'm not positive about curing Fluoride levels or removal. I'm thinking iodine must be able.

A really great survival food that also happens to be a good everyday healthy food is dried seaweed.

Seaweed dries naturally into a very small size containing lots of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Iodine and other dark-vegetable, sea-mineral nutrients. It's one of the richest dietary sources of organic mineral salts.

One sheet of nori (the dried seaweed used to make sushi rolls) contains a full day's supply of some vitamins and minerals, and you can order packets of 100 for as low as $6-$7. In addition to nori sheets, seaweed also comes in a dried leafy form, Wakame, that you soak in water and add to soups, stews and salads like a cooked green. Wakame also is very cheap. In the UK, people also eat Dulse, another species of seaweed.

Dried seaweed is a staple in many Asian diets. It's a nutritionally dense superfood that doesn't even need to be cooked, but can be eaten raw. It's used medicinally for people who are going through childbirth, suffer from anemia and other issues involving loss of blood or mineral deficiencies.

Seaweed is left off of many lists of "superfoods" here in the West simply because of unfamiliarity with it. But it really tops the list as one of the most "super" superfoods out there.

It's easily ordered online: http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/category/seaweed-nori

Seaweed contains:

* iodine
* calcium
* selenium
* magnesium
* folate
* iron
* vitamin A
* vitamin B12
* vitamin B1
* vitamin B2
* vitamin C

They had iodine as an anti bacterium in the bread up to 25 years, they then replaced it with bromide, tells a lot ....

The best way to get fluoride out of your body is to not use it in the first place. I've been distilling my drinking water for over two years now. I've actually noticed some psychological change in that time period. I also started using a fluoride-free toothpaste, but my dentist called me out on that during my last check up and recommended a fluoride treatment. Since then I've started using the fluoridated toothpaste again. My dentist spotting noticeable degradation in my teeth convinced me that fluoride is useful to an extent.

Thanks Andromeda!

I see an intriguing connection here. If fluoride is a pineal gland inhibitor, basically a spiritual connection suppressor as many suggest, i find it interesting that Asian cultures, especially the Japanese have a very spiritual, respectful way about their culture and they also eat large quantities of seaweed. Now, obviously all cultures have been fraught with inequality and mistreatment for which some is horrific, but could this be a contributing factor to these cultures emergence from that way of life to the way they are now, vs. the cultures of the "west", which seem to still be bogged down in that atavistic frame of mind? I wonder if this is also a contributing factor to why Asians seem to have higher IQs than in Western countries. The average IQ for the US is around 100, where the average IQ for Japan is 110.

Does anyone know if the Asian countries fluoridate their water?

Of course everybody is different so bear that in mind after I tell you that I have been on reverse osmosis water for almost five years and don't brush with any fluoride for at least that amount of time. The dentist also recommended me to use fluoride too, but I haven't and have been fine. I am thinking it was possibly the toothpaste and habits you use that make the difference in this case(of course everyones teeth are diff too), but I have used KissMyFace and mainly Jasons over the years. Jasons is my favorite to use. I did use Tom's for a week, but found it was bought by Colgate and did have fluoride in it. During that week my teeth were sensative and had some minor pain. But wonder what you were brushing with those two years?

EDIT: I found I have iodine in my multivitamin. I use Country Life, Twin-lab(100% daily allowance of iodine in it) and Solaray.
