Going on a road trip
I'm hitting the road this spring!

Where I will end up is still up in the air

but I want to be able to connect to the web

without having to stop at a Starbucks lol

Any advice on mobile service would be appreciated.

I am in Canada if that makes any difference.

mcdonalds are usually the spot to hit. you can access it usually from the parking lot, it will be an unsecured att connection.

From what I have heard, Rogers has a pretty good service. I am imagining you have a laptop, correct? Not a smartphone...

another good trick is to find a hotel. a days inn, quality inn, that kind of stuff. they will either have an unsecure connection, or a password protected one.

if it has a password, find out the hotels phone number and call the front desk, and inquire about the password, theyll usually just give it to you outright.
also a good way to get some free breakfast ;)

Most hospitals and hotels have unsecured connections. Sit in the lobby or the parking lot.

Sounds like it might work

but I will be in a home on wheels so I was kinda thinking of what might work literally on the road or at a campsite.

No no no...lol. It is 150 for the stick if you dont take the plan. Plans start at 30 bucks a month, or you can pay as you go:
