In 2013 something extraordinary is going to happen. Something so strange and enthralling, that hearing the concept alone makes your imagination fly.

This is The Deep Storage Project.

Samples of DNA will be placed in a sculpture and sunk into a deep trench in the sea. Why? We can only guess, but they are claiming it to be art. So many of these kinds of projects are happening around the globe right now, it does make you wonder. Reminds me of the seed vault.

As Hornsleth says in his artist statement: “It might occur to you that humanity might not make it in the future because of pollution or war, but if the DNA samples should be found by science, and all the participants were recreated, maybe the genes of art lovers wouldn’t be the worst building material for a new human race.” Like the photographs embedded on Paglen’s “The Last Pictures,” the project acknowledges that it is unlikely someone will ever find these samples to resurrect beings from the 21st century, but states that “it is an opportunity to believe in a sense of hope.”

well along those lines as sick as they are

what if a few thousand years down the road we are all gone
and that canister breaks open and the information on the dna is encoded into some other life form and it evolves back into a human like creature millions of years later..

Picture this; A vast iron sculpt, some 8 meters by 8 meters by 8 meters (26 feet by 26 feet by 26 feet for Americans), being lowered into the Marianas trench, right to the bottom 11,000 metres down. It’s going to be full of human blood and hair samples, animal DNA and similar samples taken from both trees and plants.

IDK about thr DSP but I do get the feeling 2013 will be a life changing year for everyone.
After 2013 nothing will be the same. Not like 2011 but a real paradigm shift to a lower frequency. Shitty days ahead

I meant not like 2001 everything changed..I feel, as many others do, this change is going to be big...

Some think it will be positive but I see it as a lower vibrational shift to a dark time..Buckle up...mid 2013 ppl are going to start losing their minds..literally
