Morgellons: Do you think/know you have it?
Wondering how many others out there deal with the sores and the fibres..
Also, anyone notice how peculiar plucked hair roots look? They shouldn't be black bulbs covered in silicone..

I dont think I have it, but I dont know. The last couple months I have been getting these terrible sores...they are difficult to get rid of. I dont have fibers, though, at least to my knowledge. Gods, I hope not.

Get a magnifying glass, you might be able to see the colorfulness of the fibres.. the dry blood makes it a little hard to spot though. An experiment.. The facial region is especially prone to hair infection(in guys especially, my beard is completely morg hairs, can post uber-resolution pics if anyone wants examples..). If any ladies around here have any whiskers they could attempt to pluck... Hopefully your roots are white still. =S

RE:Morgellons: Do you think/know you have it?
before I would go for Morgellons I would be more inclined to look into staph infections. There are some pretty nasty ones going around, they can be very very dangerous if not treated.

The only symptom of Staph that I may have are possible sarcomas (kaposi's I think, wild guess). However my immune sys keeps that under control, I've had less of it than ever. But, the hairs remain, wirey as ever, sometimes up to 5-in-1. I have been plucking little black specs recently(after the hairs are out). Recently started supplementing with 25mg+ daily of iodine(still going higher), it seems to facilitate their removal.

RE:Morgellons: Do you think/know you have it?
I guess this topic is a little sensitive to people.

Signs you may have it:

Painful pimples(especially back/upper flank) Usually very deep feeling
Scabs that do not heal, yet do not become infected
Fissures that do not heal/do not become infected
Hairy nose syndrome? People shouldn't have hair coming from their nose pores..
Eye floaters
Random stabbing pains(anywhere)
Random sore joints(in otherwise healthy people)
Eczema
Psoraiasis

I can keep going, my list is extensive, but the effects I suffer are very mild.

Either way, first thing starts with diet. How is yours lately? Any bad habits?
