One of my fav conspiracies is about this pit.

Mine too. Probably less here than meets the eye but it is fun and real.

I personally think this is one of the most intriguing mysteries out there.

In my opinion, the complexity of the pit's construction completely removes it's creation from the likes of pirates, templars or any culture that is known to have existed in the last 2000 years.

What's even more baffling is that the part of the world this is in, doesn't have any other similarly complex structures. Weird.

If anything was ever constructed from a 'lost civilization', it would be the money pit.

How do you explain all the wood incorporated into its design then?

Templars and Freemasons are the stewards of many ancient architectural secrets.

I can't.

But , like I said, I don't think any of the leading candidates for it's construction(templars, pirates, freemasons, etc.), had the engineering capability, finances and manpower to do the job.

Digging over 200 feet down, incorporating multiple underground flooding tunnels and booby traps in a lonely , remote island in the middle of nowhere. It's the kind of thing that in my opinion, is like a national works project , done by a government.

What government and why is anyone's guess.

It sure seems to me that whatever is there is meant to NEVER be discovered. And it's probably in our best interest to not discover it.

RE: Oak Island Money Pit.
They knew the water flooding this had to be coming from the ocean around it so they put in dye. It came out into the water in three different places. They could see the dye dispersing in the water but they could/can not find exactly where the water is going in and out. How do you do that? Dig tunnels that lead from inland to past the shoreline with water flooding you? Back then...with no modern equipment? It strikes me as one of the most unnatural...unearthly...endeavors.

Yes that is what i don't get, either the person or people who built this are very smart or they are using a tech back then that was on the same level as the pyramids.

There's a story behind every person.
There's a reason why they're the way they are.
They aren't just like that because they want to.
Something in the past created them.
And sometimes it's impossible to fix them.

Jhikpghf coolest mystery of all time.
It's almost as if the entire island was faked.
Yet it uses commonplace materials that are really primitive.
WAY more frustrating than the pyramids imo.

I have read that there is a tunnel system going to a near by island.

That island has the triangle mark to make the starting point.

It was on "ancient Aliens" last night on History Channel.

The show says the Knights Templar may have buried the Ark of the Covenant there.

I also showed how there are three separate shafts 9tunnels) that lead to both sides of the island, they are at various depths...as you dig down the shafts flood the pit with seawater.

They dumped paint into the pit years ago and that is how they determined the shafts go to or come from the ocean.

RE: Oak Island Money Pit.
i was gonna do a thread on this too. thanks for this one cos im lazy as phuck.
Lmao

its funny how so many have put so much into a hole that someone probably filled in their old well and left pointless clues behind. but still though. can you imagine if some other worldly beings set back and made this hole and said i wonder how much humans would put into a hole that goes all the way through to the other side with nothing in it just because they think somethings down there?

the oldest biggest placebo experiment of the world.

Now that was pretty interesting. Lots of info about what's down there. And none of it explains WHY it's there.

Obviously, its a mystery, so im not going to speculate more wildly than this thread merits... all im saying is that buried wood doesnt last 2000 years.
