It's kind of adorable actually

When a leaf falls, who's fault is it?
The tree that let it go,
The wind for blowing it away,
Or the leaf that got tired of holding on?

RE: The 'walking' Easter Island Moai
There is however a serious drawback to this walking Moai therory:

Moai are full-body statues; you normally only see the top one-third of a Moai!!

Also for thought: just how much debris has fallen on Easter Island, or what type of local or global catastrophy occurred to bury those statues so deeply in sediment?!?!?

If LOP had a telescope, it would be pointed at girls on a beach.

Jhikpghf

My post was more of a "look how cute that is" than a "So, that's how they did it".

Indeed easter island have a few unsolved mysteries that simple can't be explained by funny walking half-statues-pulled-by-ropes

Batboy

They only forget two things:

- The statue must run inside a way that is around 1meter or 2 high (avoiding the statue falling to the sides)

- A guy must place a stick in front of the statue to its throat to avoid the statue falling to the front.

And yes, with these two things they are not doing it was as it was done in Easter Island
