My first was a redhead (AND aries- talk about hot temper!) I still seem to fall for them a lot.

And she had one blue eye and one green eye- now how often do you see that!

And if you see her tell her that her son says she owes him years worth of birthday presents....

In a world gone mad, we will not spank the monkey, but the monkey will spank us.

They say redheads have a much higher pain threshold. It's true - I find it easy to handle pain (not that I like it!) - last time went to a dentist (looong time ago) he wanted drill into a tooth, and so he automatically go out the syringe and was about to jab me one before he started. I grabbed his hand and told him "no thank you", after which he warned me, "you're definitely going to ask for it when I get close to the nerve". I told him no and so he drilled away. Dude was a bit white in the face after he did that and I didn't even flinch, LOL

Haha...Awesome!

Me too!
I had my wisdom teeth removed, I was fully awake and felt about 50% of the pain on three of the teeth, and one tooth was 100% pain feeling.

...It's not hard to take pain.

Apparently Red heads need more anesthetic as well.

This is 100% true. When I had my vasectomy, I could feel everything. They then scheduled an OR to try again. This time, with the Fentanyl/Versed conscious sedation, I could also feel everything. Eventually, I had to be restrained. Even thoigh I knew squirming could permanently damage my parts, I just could not hold still. Afterward, the white-faced anesthesiologis explained that there has always been a rule of thumb that redheads need 20% more. Then he explained that, in the last few years, research has been done confirming this. There also seems to be a correlation with alcohol tolerance, though I have never noticed this. On the other hand, I can be puking drunk and still walk a line. I always attributed this to years of walking walls building houses.

Also, the Versed did nothing to dull my memory of this.

And another thing, I always wake up in surgury. Usually it is just for a moment, but I always remember it. I confirm it by telling the surgeon how many people were in the room.
