forgot the link here it is

http://nanaimo.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1705394168.html

Howdy Islander :-) Lowe Mainlander here .

195k that some mileage. I say it is a good idea.

I do not know how long the car has been used out side of the Service, but the RCMP have to keep a well maintained fleet and this car I am sure received top notch care and servicing while it was in service. The engine I am sure is great on it. It all comes down to little things that start to go, @ 195K that can be any number of things. I think it is a fair deal. a gas guzzler but a fair deal.

im a bit worried as i can't afford to get the car checked out with a mechanic before i buy it, so it might be a bit of gamble what do you guys think ?

also will people think im a cop and be scared of me on the streets?

how will real cops react to me ?

I bought an ebike. No insurance, no license, no parking fees and most importantly, no gas. Get a decent one and you will have the range you need to get to work and back. I live in the country too.

Depends on how fast you are driving chuckle

It will look like you are plain clothes officer on civy street :-)

The RCMP would run your plate and see it is not a commissioned vehicle in their fleet, if they run the plate chuckle Get an ear bud and see how it goes.

one would imagine they keep those in pretty tight condition, so if it had no other previous owner besides being in a police fleet, it should be okay.

but I'm just a gurl, so whado I know.... :P

I get about 70 kilometres per charge. I charge it overnight and can go to work and back twice. I'm a big guy so smaller people will get better range.
