International waters protecting shipping lanes so you can buy cheap oil and other shite......Right then Russia can stay out of the English channel and north sea and stop flying bombers in our direction, on your views lol

This is not about international waters.

The two ships were in Iranian territorial waters near the port of Jask when attacked.

It was an obvious false flag attack organized by Israel, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. combined.

The US are friends with all the ruthless brutal dictators in the region. The King of Saudi Arabia, the King of Bahrain, the Sultan of Oman, the UAE so-called royals.

Such nice people, hey?

Trump and his team are liars and you are buying their stories for cheap without even questioning them.

They and their rabid allies are looking to start a war by provoking Iran, cruising at the limit of Iranian territorial waters where they shouldn't be.

I have been to Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island. I know what I am talking about. I visit Iran every year.

Anon

The 2 ships where not American lol your having a go at American ships that are only going where they are aloud to go under international law.

I never said the attacked ships were American.

You need prop up your reading comprehension and stop being blindfolded. Also it would be a good idea that you use proper spelling.

Allowed is proper spelling. Aloud is wrong.
Spellcheck is there to help you if you are not sure.

Kapisch?

Iran has friends and not the least, namely Russia and China, among others

Rouhani tells SCO summit: US poses 'serious threat' to world

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani (right), Chinese President Xi Jinping (center), and Russian President Vladimir Putin (left) pose for a photo after the 19th summit of the leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on June 14, 2019. (Photo by president.ir)

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani says the Trump administration is a serious threat to the stability of the Middle East and the world, urging the international community to stand up to US unilateralism.

"For the past two years, the US government has used its economic, financial and military power through an aggressive approach to disrupt all international structures and regulations," Rouhani said Friday.

This has turned the US administration "into a serious threat for the stability of the region and the world", he noted.
...
Rouhani also warned that "terrorism, in its different forms, extremism, unilateralism and interference of extra-regional countries in the affairs of other regions and interference in the internal affairs of other countries have put the international community in a grave situation."

The situation, he noted, can pose a threat to the stability, security and interests of all countries around the world.

Notice that he didn't say "drones"
he said "flying objects"....
Jhikpghf

Another source, with more details:

'"The crew told us something came flying at the ship, and they found a hole,” Katada said. “Then some crew witnessed the second shot.”'
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-midea...SKCN1TF0M9

The thing, whatever it was, didn't explode, but simply made a hole in the hull.

If it was a missile, it sure looks to be something similar to this (fired from a drone, and undoubtedly available to multitudes of "players" by now):

Secret U.S. Missile Aims to Kill Only Terrorists, Not Nearby Civilians
https://www.wsj.com/articles/secret-u-s-...1557403411

I wouldn't exclude a possibility of one such (U.S. manufactured) missile being fired from a Russian drone/ship/sub (provided, beforehand, to Russians by the CIA). After all... anybody else noticed the thundering silence coming out of Kremlin about this whole thing?

It would certainly not be the first time a U.S. manufactured missile has been used (by the CIA, or one of it subsidiaries, like FSB) to start a war with a completely innocent party, would it?

I'd sure like to see the report on whatever it was that hit those tankers... but what are the chances of that?

Iran rejects US blame for tanker attacks in Gulf of Oman

Tehran has dismissed US accusations that the Iranian navy was behind attacks on tankers navigating the Strait of Hormuz as "baseless." Iran said its vessels had rushed to help the damaged ships and save their crews.

Yep, look at the vid, if you're pulling up to a ship to remove/install mine...why do you have SO MANY DAMN PEOPLE ON BOARD ?

Does it really take 10 men to install a Mine or remove one ??

I said it from the start.

The US have no business being in the Persian Gulf for one.

They are only there to provoke and create trouble.

Mind your own business at home U.S.A.!

Ths was said to be near a port, one of the first things you do if you believe an attack is coming from the sea is scuttle ships or put some other obstruction in front of your vessels in port

what they are clearly saying is "get out of our way we want these shipping lanes so we can extract super profits from the supply of oil."

You have a valid point. If everyone went back to the country of their ethnic origins, all the trouble would cease. You first...

RE: The Latest: Japanese operator: Sailors saw ‘flying objects’
Iran rescued 44 sailors from two tankers, ‘Front Altair’ and ‘Kokuka Courageous,’ after the vessels came under attack on Thursday. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was quick to pin the blame for the incident on Iran, claiming that the Islamic Republic was “lashing out” in frustration over Washington’s draconian sanctions regime.

Analysts who spoke with RT, however, questioned Pompeo’s line of reasoning.

‘Mainstream conspiracy theory’

It’s not surprising that media outlets are dutifully relaying Pompeo’s accusations against Iran without questioning his logic – or asking for evidence, observed political analyst Shabbir Razvi.

“As soon as something happens in the Gulf region, particularly over the last few months in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, it’s immediately blamed on Iran,” he said, describing the phenomenon as a “mainstream conspiracy theory” being pushed by Washington and uncritical media.
