I have been watching a concrete dock in the Indian River, in Titusville, Florida, at the corner of U.S. 1 and route 50 since 1978. Water level has been the same for 41 years.

The irony of this argument is you think that there isn't evidence.

And in many cases, the evidence is hard to detect.

Oh look, that dock is now 1 inch closer to the water than it was 10 years ago.

Most people won't even recognize that change, even though it has only been 10 years. Even last year to this year, most people won't notice it.

It has to be a significant change. The dock is now completely underwater when it used to be 1 foot above the water.

But that doesn't mean there is sea level rise.

And what you call normal erosion, isn't normal. Rather you need to understand how erosion affects the Dunes and the Berms. While winter storms erode the berm, calmer summer waves generally redeposit sands and rebuild the berm. However, when the berm isn't restored during the summer, it is no longer a normal ebb/flow erosion.

Acting like a 1 inch sea surface rise isn't a problem is similar to buying a house downhill from a river dam with a slight drip. Sure you can ignore it and make jokes, but eventually it is going to f*#k you.

I was at the beach today...the water line is exactly where it has been my entire life and for hundreds of years before that.

The hunting of sea otters precipitated a massive growth of sea urchins which then devoured the kelp beds which protected shore lines from erosion.

Bullshit, it was the 13/14 storm flooding.

The 2013–2014 United Kingdom winter floods saw areas of Ireland and the United Kingdom inundated following severe storms. The south of England saw heavy rainfalls associated with these storms which caused widespread flooding, power cuts and major disruptions to transport.

yea but there are many fewer living things I bet and many more dead things floating, bloating and rotting in the river, cuz that's where we're going if we don't get our sh!t together

I have lived on Puget Sound for much of my life and the water is definitely getting higher and more and more beach erosions and landslides are happening from higher sea levels and higher tides.

A section of stairs I used to get to the beach at the local park is now gone and my friends stairs to the beach have completely disintegrated from higher tides and beach erosion.

If the stairs or boat launches wash away completely, you can't get a permit to replace them now, because the county knows they will just wash away again and add more pollution to the bay.

As usual, the lying from Heman goes on. Here is a chart of Seattle in Washington State and you can see the sea level has been rising AT THE SAME SLOW RATE for over a HUNDRED years. At 2 MM per year that is about 8 inches a CENTURY. There is NO EVIDENCE AT ALL OF INCREASED MELTING AFTER CO2 STARTED RISING ABRUPTLY IN THE 1950's. This shows the global warming from CO2 has had NO EFFECT on sea level.

Hehe. Popcorn

Every 6 hours here in NZ. Up then down.

Global warming must be well out of hand. We even have charts to predict it. They say the Moon causes it. Maybe if we blow up the moon Global Warming will stop. (there are at least 3 people who read this who thought I was serious about blowing up the moon)

Here in the Pacific all the Islanders have died because their islands drown by 2007 like Al Gore said.......yeah right. Al's predictions are inconveniently not true. Still he made millions off it.

Some of our mountains have sea shells on them indicating they were once under water.......thousands of feet above sea level....in other places in the world we find sunken cities under they water.
How ill global water alarmists explain that?
Will they find a convenient explanation.....

Please forgive me for my bad programming and I will try and forgive you for yours.

RE: People who live near water: post pics of sea level rise due to global warming
We have what an uneducated person would think was proof that the water level had risen near where I live. Dead trees on the coast lines of off shore islands.
But, the truth is that the river has been dredged to receive very large ships and car carriers from South Korea and Germany.

It's the principle of ice cubes making the level rise in a glass. It's displacement. All these ships are making the water level rise and are causing wake issues that wash inland. If a pointy head came by and took a photo of the island area next to the river they'd be saying, oh global sea rise. Further past the port upstream is the sea wall for the town and it shows the water levels there haven't changed in 150 years.

I love near the coast in Florida and there are probably 50,000 homes in a 100 mile radius directly on the ocean or a bay, all with docks and piers. I'm saying, there has been no sea level rise.

Sea levels are now falling do to global cooling. Welcome to the new ice age.

Falling....

Science says Ice takes up more room. Put a plastic bottle of water in the freezer to prove it.

90% of icebergs are below the surface. The North Pole is all ice and no land.

If you melt Sea ice it drops water levels. Al Gore ignored science to tell convenient lies.

The sea levels used to be 300ft lower that they are current day. Not because of more Ice, because of less.

Get a glass of water. Add ice cubes and mark the water level on the side. After the ice melts the level has dropped not risen. Basic experiment every kid used to do at school in the 1970's.

I always wondered what kind of fools could get suckered into thinking it was the opposite when hard science shows you and everyone with an experiment everyone can do in their own homes Al Gore was a big f*ckin liar.

The Media were paid off to spread the lies or simply instructed to proliferate the psy-op by their owners. If not for the Media backing those lies no one would have taken him seriously.

You see who the enemy of humanity is now?
The Corporate Media, owned by Billionaires.
