Wow this is a really interesting clip, Looks like Rudy and Trump are looking at long stretches. Scream1

Giuliani could be facing the same charges Trump would be if he weren’t president: Ex-prosecutor

"On CNN Thursday, former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman speculated that President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani could potentially face the same charges that Trump himself would face if he were not president.

“It’s sort of two big pots,” said Litman. “He was doing two different things. He was trying to do Trump’s bidding. On the other end, he was influence peddling on his own behalf. He would toggle back and forth and say, no I’m his lawyer, no I’m not. So in the sort of silo of what Trump, you know, running Trump’s business there, he’s got what Trump would be looking at if he weren’t president. Bribery, conspiracy, campaign finance violations. On the other side, on the influence peddling, he’s looking at failure to register, false statements, obstruction, wire fraud.”

“The prosecutors in his old office haven’t talked to him, which he should know well, that’s a really bad sign,” added Litman. “They’re working their way up toward him. They sent subpoenas far and wide on the laundry list of offenses, and he’s in very, very hot water.”

RE: Giuliani will ‘absolutely’ face criminal charges for Ukraine meddling:
Rudy's bad behavior is finally being given the FBI and SDNY investigations it deserves. Jhikpghf Cheer

Trump is not going to get out of this because Rudy is not going to prison and the only top dog he can bring down with plea deals large enough to keep him out of Rikers prison NY or some other hell hole IS TRUMP himself. Scream1 chuckle

Giuliani can either flip on Trump or end up in jail with criminals he locked up as federal prosecutor

"An MSNBC panel on the future of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is facing multiple investigations into his business dealings and his work for President Donald Trump, led a former prosecutor to speculate whether the former U.S. Attorney wants to find himself locked up with hardened criminals he once put away.

Speaking with host Stephanie Ruhle, former homicide prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said Giuliani likely has much to divulge about Trump — including going back to when he was New York City’s mayor and Trump was still just a developer — to SDNY prosecutors to avoid jail himself.

Addressing Giuliani’s involvement in the Ukraine “quid pro quo” scandal that is engulfing the Trump administration, Kirschner said that and Rudy’s longtime relationship with Trump could yield a wealth of information to investigators.

“This is a conspiracy to defraud the United States by having a foreign country interfere in the upcoming presidential election,” Kirschner began. “Look. right now SDNY’s fiercely independent prosecutor’s office is engaged in a wide-ranging criminal investigation into Rudy Giuliani. I am hard-pressed to believe that they are not finding enough evidence to charge Rudy Giuliani. Then the question becomes: what does Rudy do? Does he flip on the president?”

“I was really interested to see that now somewhat infamous comment by Giuliani that if he [Trump] tries to throw me under the bus, I have insurance,” he continued. “Let’s think: he was a U.S. Attorney in New York. He was mayor in New York for a combined 13 years. how much information could he have about dirt that Trump did in New York?”

“I don’t know,” host Ruhle protested. “You seem pretty excited about that but wouldn’t you think Michael Cohen would have a whole lot of incriminating evidence against the president and Michael is sitting in jail and the president is at Mar-a-Lago?”

“Do you think Rudy wants to sit in federal prison like Michael Cohen is with all those people he put there when he was U.S. Attorney?” the prosecutor persisted. “That’s not a hospitable environment for Rudy Giuliani. ”

RE: Giuliani will ‘absolutely’ face criminal charges for Ukraine meddling:
Contracts show how Giuliani-backed lawyers planned to help fired Ukraine prosecutor get revenge on Biden

"Newly revealed contracts obtained by the Daily Beast show that two lawyers backed by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani explicitly promised to help fired Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin regain his reputation by digging up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden.

A contract written up by attorney Victoria Toensing this past April stated that Shokin would agree to pay Toensing and her husband, fellow attorney Joseph diGenova, $125,000 “for the purpose of collecting evidence regarding [Shokin’s] March 2016 firing as Prosecutor General of Ukraine and the role of then-Vice President Joe Biden in such firing, and presenting such evidence to U.S. and foreign authorities.”

Biden directly put pressure on the Ukrainian government to fire Shokin as part of official American policy in Ukraine under the Obama administration. However, Biden’s role in Shokin’s ouster has raised questions about conflicts of interest given that Hunter Biden at the time was employed by Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

This apparent conflict of interest has been the center of what has so far been a baseless charge that Biden behaved corruptly when he helped push Shokin out the door on the American government’s behalf.

President Donald Trump, in his now-infamous phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, specifically asked that his government investigate the Bidens as part of a “favor” to him."
