Yeah? So you can prove that an equivalent job has never been offered to any other individual with questionable qualifications? How do you know this isn't common? You don't, it's just an excuse to show your true colors by attacking someone who has a clear, patriotic loyalty to the US.

My father is a Lt col in th USAF and I can guarantee...he wouldn't have been asked once much less three times.

Well hey your experience with your dad sure convinces me, that's definitely the equivalent of the Director for European Affairs with the NSC. By the way, how does that prove that someone other than the one individual who is your father has never been offered such a position?

I dont have to prove that has never happened.

Stay focused. We are talking about a higher up in the military who is testifying towards a an impeachment of the sitting, duly elected President of the United States.

Yes we are, one who even Trump Cultists freely admit had at least three opportunities to betray his position and loyalty to the US and did not.

Well duh, it just hit me...

When a foreign government offers you some sort of personal gain for corrupt legislation, you're supposed to say yes!

No wonder you guys hate him so much.

Why?
Because he turned down the offer he in no way solicited and said he has an oath to keep instead?

Doesn’t this DEMONSTRATE his integrity that he walked away from the offer like a suburbanite from Trump rather than accept a conflict of interest for his own personal gain?

It doesnt matter if he takes it or not ya dolt.

The fact he was offered the job 3 times is a major red flag.

Silly 1* thread EM.

Vindman has no power to stop Ukrainian politicians from offering him important positions. Other than turning them down.

He is clearly respected by Ukraine's leadership or he would not be offered that super important position, several times.

I assume he reported the offers to his superiors and did whatever was considered normal to do in that type of context.

Also Vindman is acting within his obligation as a high level currently serving military officer in appearing in his dress uniform to a congressional hearing. If he had not worn the uniform he would be attacked by idiots on the far right for not showing patriotism by not wearing the uniform. He was going to be attacked by the far right idiots and by you (another idiot) if he wore the uniform or not.

Making LOP Great again since 06-07-2013!

We have discussions and I trust my father's opinion on protocol and what's acceptable of foreign nations in regards for propositioning, multiple times, employment with sitting, high ranking military personnel.

Oh it's definitely a conflict.

Lay out, in detail, how an unsolicited job offer is a conflict of or with anything. Please.

Unsolicited?? How the f*#k do you know it was unsolicited?

How? Explain?
How is a guy who shuns corruption three times “guilty” and Donnie Dildo who said he wanted to be the Prime Minister of Israel last week “innocent”?

It’s an incoherent stance. What is Vindman supposed to do...fly to Ukraine and murder the individuals soliciting him so they stop?

The corrupt parties would be the ones either doing the soliciting or the ones accepting the offer...not the one repeatedly rejecting it.
lmao

They would have NEVER approached him in the 1st place if they didnt think they could have employed him. At least not after he specifically clarified he told his higher ups upon returning the FIRST time!

I will say that asking for a someone for a job (soliciting) THREE TIMES and THEN saying NO each time would be a level of stupid that I would expect from the likes of...well...Eustace.

Why wouldn't they try to acquire someone who would obviously benefit them greatly?

Oh and uh...you basically just said "They wouldn't have approached him the first time after the clarified that he told on them the first time." I know what you're actually trying to say, but you should clarify your point. It needs all the help it can get.

Because Vindman rejected it and immediately reported it to his superiors so it was documented along with his dismissal. These are the actions of an incorruptible patriot.

...it’s not like Vindman sent his personal attorney balls deep in Russian money laundering to run a shadow campaign for his own personal gain. Vindman followed procedure and had the offer documented specifically so that it couldn’t be construed later as something he was entertaining.

Dumbass.

Hate? There is no hate but if you're gonna sit there with a sh*t eating grin while Schiff scolds Nunes and Trump while he testifies against a sitting US president, be prepared to get some heat back.

Like I said, I'm not 100% Trump...not even close to 40%, but I can have an opinion and we can disagree.

Cheers
