Currently I use about $5 a day (and only because of massively overpriced sh*t which was demonized by say, corporate greed, agricultural destruction, pharmaceutical horseshit).

With that $5, btw, I happen to be able to afford alcohol all day, marijuana, kratom, enough food, cigarettes, internet acess, electricity and the ability to define "your" reality.

I don't use a smartphone, though, which helps.

Do you think money is more beneficial, or distracting to advancement?

That's some interesting rhetoric.

It's degenerate, entropic. Obviously destructive, exploitative. It devalues actual worth. Only less money can improve this world. Humans are the only beings stupid enough to "need" it. And why? For greed, for ignorance.

*F*cking high five*

You'd freeze to death if you tried to live in a cardboard tent in Australia's winter. How is someone supposed to survive a European winter in one? Apart from the sheer cold, water destroys cardboard, or are they giving out gigantic cardboard umbrellas, too?

Am guessing it would need to be water repellent else as you say, pretty useless..

I think winter here in Southern England is similar to that in Belgium and does not often go below zero so maybe that is part of the thinking..

Have you ever sprayed scotch guard on paper or cardboard?

I knew some people that taped the seams of a refrigerator box, sprayed scotch guard in 2 coats, inside and out, and made in into a wading pool. It lasted about 4 days.

I used to doubt psychology until I met so many of you suffering from Apophenia and Pareidolia.

How is it that with about $1's worth of food (that other people would waste) I can feed like 7 people a day?

Cardboard Shelter: Brussels homeless people given tents to sleep

A Belgian designer has come up with an origami cardboard shelter to hand out to homeless people during the winter. The idea is to prevent deaths on the streets due to the cold and to provide rough sleepers with some privacy. Jack Parrock reports.

Can't Brusslamabad Metro rail keep a certain number of stations opened (same as they do in Paris) so the homeless can stay warm spending their time underground?

Brussels is a rich city. They must cash in big from EU institutions city tax paymernts.

I came. I saw. I Concorde.

Would be nice if they laminated the boxes before handing them out.

NYC is rich too. Their stations have milliondollar art hanging.
They could incarcerate any who sleep in the stations, Charged with loitering, disorderly conduct or trespassing, but instead just kick them into the street, to keep the stations clean for uppitier class.
