Article is from 2013 and it dont say how many are found an hour later or run away and come back or any of 20 other reasons.

2000 kids a day do not dissapear.

Article from 2013 says "roughly 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States -- that's roughly 2,000 per day. Of those, there are 115 child "stranger abduction" cases each year, "

I don't believe the above stats.
I can't believe out of 800,000 missing only 115 were taken by strangers.
How many "missing" and no knows who or why or where they are ?

Over 2,000 per day. That's approximately 400 per day per state. Now I know that's just an average and not proportional to the state's populations. But I don't think I even hear about 1 a week in my state and I keep up on local news.

I wonder how many of the 800,000 are eventually recovered?

We Americans are notoriously shitty parents by most of the world and honestly that's pretty much the truth. No one wants to take accountability for anything and everyone is lazy and stupid. I'm not sure if there is a good way to candy coat the issue or not, the above is my perspective of the situation only.
